Lee Cornes (born on February 15, 1951) is a British actor. He was one of the original cast members for TUGS.

In 1988, Lee auditioned for the part of Arnold Rimmer in the BBC sitcom, Red Dwarf. Even though he lost the part to Chris Barrie, he did appear as a one-off character in the fifth episode of the first series. He is also the lead writer for Mr. Bean: the Animated Series.

He also has a YouTube channel where he used to make uploads of himself performing comedy skits.

Trivia[]

  • According to Lewis Gilbert, he had tried to bring in Lee Cornes to be interviewed for the documentary TUGS: A Bigg Retrospective; he had asked a podcast group dedicated to a show called Bottom of which Cornes had taken part in if he could contact him and they offered to pass his invitation to him, but nothing happened.
