""Oh, it wasn't a face. Was it...?!"/"How could it have been?"/"With a crown! Like King Neptune! I... I think.""
— Ten Cents and Sunshine

In ancient Roman mythology, King Neptune is the god of the sea.

Neptune's Ghost[]

On a night when ghosts were a trending subject in Bigg City Port, Ten Cents and Sunshine were out at sea taking fuel to Lillie Lightship. While following the sound of her horn, "ghostly" tugs passed by and a spooky galleon emerged from the sea.

As the galleon stood in fog and smoke, as lightning struck it, a terrifying face appeared in the sky. Sunshine identified the face as King Neptune. Eventually, the two could bear the horrific sight of the ghostly galleon no more and rushed back to Port.

The next morning, Hercules was able to explain to the other Star Tugs how the white tugs and the galleon weren't ghosts. However, he shrugged off Sunshine's claim of seeing Neptune, thinking the fog drove him crazy. In the end, it is left ambiguous whether Neptune's face is real or if Sunshine was seeing things.

Behind the Scenes[]

The model for Neptune's face was a foam puppet that was hung from the ceiling of the set. The whereabouts of the foam puppet model are unknown.
